When did your love of STEM begin?
I didn't! A STEM career decided to pursue me. The first high school math teacher who actually believed in me was Ewa! She always pushed me to work hard for the things I wanted to accomplish. I failed grade 11 math TWICE, but she helped show me just how simple it could be.
What did you love most about study in your field of STEM?
That the possibilities truly are infinite, and that there are endless chances to stretch the limits of your imagination! That a-ha moment that happens when someone FINALLY understands something they never thought they would ever be capable of understanding!
What advice would you give to young women considering a career in STEM?
Forget about finding your passion, and focus on following your curiosity instead. Trust me. That's where the magic is!
