When did your love of STEM begin?
Since I was very young, my father has been an inspiration to me as he is the most knowledgeable mechanical engineer I know. I have seen him designing and making machines from scratch, which made me want to do the same. Taking up science and math was a very natural choice for me as I never pictured myself in any other field.
What did you love most about study in your field of STEM?
There's always something new. Personally, in Automation and technology, whenever I have thought that I know how something works, there's a ton more that I don't know. It's exciting to see how your mind grows in STEM.
What advice would you give to young women considering a career in STEM?
Don't be scared to get your hands dirty. Be competitive, positive, bold and you will be happy. It takes a lot of effort but trust me, it is worth it.
