When did your love of STEM begin?

In high school, I joined the hovercraft team and we designed and built one for a competition. I enjoyed my math and science classes the most throughout school.

What is the best part about working in the field of STEM?

I love the extra challenge of being a female in a traditionally male environment. Also, with STEM there are new problems to solve everyday, there are so many industries you could be involved in.

What advice would you give young women interested in a career in STEM?

STEM is for everyone, women included. Do not let the current gender balance scare you off.
