Meet Inês Ribeiro Canella

Inês Ribeiro Canella graduated from her International Master’s Program in Environmental Management and Policy while attending Lund University, Sweden in 2011. She currently works as a Director of Asset Management at NRStor Inc. In her spare time Inês enjoys barbershop singing and reading.

When did your love of STEM begin?

As a kid I was always interested in how science let us see more than meets the eye - from looking at onion cells on a microscope to backyard stargazing with my telescope it always fascinated me that there was more to discover with scientific tools.

What is the best part about working in the field of STEM?

The learning never stops!

What advice would you give young women interested in a career in STEM?

Never underestimate your ability to learn new things and keep going. You know more than you think!
