Meet Jessica Bohorquez

On a mission to increase everyone's water curiosity.

Jessica is a Senior Civil Engineer at Aurecon with a PhD in Civil Engineering from The University of Adelaide and a strong academic foundation from Universidad de los Andes. Outside of her work, Jessica enjoys dancing salsa, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.

When did your love of STEM begin?

Early on love for numbers and problem solving!

What is the best part about working in the field of STEM?

Solve a problem by making sense of it and coming up with the best series of steps to solve it!

What advice would you give young women interested in a career in STEM?

Go for it! There is a lot of opportunities and you will never lack a job! You will be able to contribute to important challenges society has.
