When did your love of STEM begin?
I was 15 year old when I decided to study physics as it is a science of origin. Most technologies rely on the basic rules of physics, so I thought, when I am capable to understand the basis, I can do anything in my life.
What is the best part about working in the field of STEM?
A career in STEM has a lot facets and opportunities. You can specialize in a field you are deeply interested in, but as well use it for your general education to be flexible regarding your working environment. I chose the second path and now I am working as a program manager for a new technology driven company. My STEM education helped me to understand these technologies and its difficulties and challenges during the development.
What advice would you give young women interested in a career in STEM?
My general advice, independent on career paths, is to be who you are, to follow your dreams and don't be afraid.
