When did your love of STEM begin?
Really young, during high school.
What is the best part about working in the field of STEM?
The best part is to see the concrete development of my work. It gives me great joy to see acrobats performing on acrobatic equipment that I designed. I really have a direct impact on other people's lives and well-being.
What advice would you give young women interested in a career in STEM?
Go for it! Only 20% of women are in science and technology. However, studies suggest that diversity is an important factor for innovation and creativity. More perspectives and ideas stimulate innovation, so we need more women in STEM. Women are brilliant, passionate and courageous, we should promote more women in STEM.
