Meet Melanie Zeppel

Kimberley, is currently working as a Manager at Carbon & Natural Capital.

In her free time she enjoys Running, science outreach, reading, walking my greyhound, and writing Wikipedia pages for women in STEM.

A fun fact her current role: “I am helping my organization to set their Net Zero goals, and I work from home with a sweet Greyhound.”

What is the best part about working in the field of STEM?

Discovery, learning new things, working outdoors.

What advice would you give young women interested in a career in STEM?

Enjoy, keep it up, pursue your passions, find something you love, and follow that direction. Science is so rewarding. There are so many fun science jobs just around the corner.
