When did your love of STEM begin?
My love for STEM began probably when I was in the middle school and I started noticing that I liked order. I liked consistency and I liked the repeatability that you get in science. It's not a matter of opinion. It's not a matter of where you are, or your preferences,or your likes believes it's a fact. I mean there is a room for interpretation, nevertheless I found consistency that's what attracted me.
What did you love most about study in your field of STEM?
When I was studying at university, my most favorite part was the hands on experience. At our school, we had our own power generation plant, and we had labs there. I just liked seeing in real life what was written in textbooks. It always helps to learn when you see the reality of what you just read in the textbooks.
What advice would you give to young women considering a career in STEM?
Advice that I would give to young women who are considering a career in STEM would be to never give up. People may make mistakes. All of us make mistakes. So just power through it. Don't lose confidence. Just do it.
