When did your love of STEM begin?

I started to love STEM in high school. I had an excellent teacher who inspired me to take more courses in STEM - the rest is history! I want people to know that your love of STEM does not have to start when you were a little kid. It's OK to keep an open mind to new things and see where life takes you.

What is the best part about working in the field of STEM?

I love my job. The best part is when you see that your work has an impact on the world.

What advice would you give young women interested in a career in STEM?

Never let anyone tell you that you don't belong. You do. If you are passionate about it - go for it!
Also, learn to program. There will be a lot of good jobs related to computers, and I wish I had been encouraged to learn this skill at a younger age.
