When did your love of STEM begin?
My love of STEM began almost as far back as I can remember. I was very lucky to have a father who was passionate about technology and shared this love with myself and my younger brother. We were blessed to grow up in a home with computers in the house dating all the way back to VIC20 (which was released when I was 3, not to date myself!). I remember spending hours every day as a child playing games and writing out lines of code just to have the PC write my name over and over again. For me, as a child it was like having magic at your fingertips and that love has stayed with me throughout my life. I feel so blessed that I was raised with a passion and curiosity for this industry, I can’t imagine a career in anything else.
