When did your love of STEM begin?

I began to love STEM in primary school. I had some fantastic teachers who were passionate about STEM and inspired me to want to learn more.

What is the best part about working in the field of STEM?

That every day you have a chance to learn something new. That even if you only make small contributions at the start, you know that it will all lead to more substantial innovations in the end. One of the best parts is that you are always working towards the future.

What advice would you give young women interested in a career in STEM?

Don't be afraid to go after what you want. Don't be scared to be "pushy." Ask for help when you need it. Support other women who are also interested in STEM. Even if what you're working on is not going as plan, it is essential to be in the room. You deserve to take up space in this field. You will realize soon that many others have taken theirs for granted.
