When did your love of STEM begin?
I used to love spending time around computers since I was at least three years old. When I was eight, I borrowed a book from my uncle - a software engineering student then: "How to program in C/C++". I've been hooked into computer engineering ever since!
What is the best part about working in the field of STEM?
Building the products that billions of users around the world use, solving problems, and collaborating with experts from wildly different fields.
What advice would you give young women interested in a career in STEM?
Have a vision for where you want to be in five years and work for it. Sometimes we get too caught up in the day to day details and forget about longer term goals -- I think this is especially true for students.
